Day
01 22nd Aug Delhi/Chandigarh 270km
Arrive Delhi at 1130hrs and transfer to Chandigarh by road. Overnight in
Chandigarh.
Day 02 23rd Aug Chandigarh/Manali 300km
In the morning after breakfast at your hotel drive straight to reach Manali
(1920 M) by covering 338 kms. Arrive Manali and check into hotel for overnight
stay.
Day 03 24th Aug Manali
After breakfast commence city tour of Manali with a visit to the mall. A
shopper’s paradise.
Day 04 25th Aug Manali/Kaza 200km
Morning after breakfast start safari to reach Kaza (3450 M).
Day 05 26th Aug Kaza
In the morning after breakfast at your hotel leave for an excursion to visit
Kye Monastery (4116 M/11 kms). The Monastery of Spiti with rare painting and
scriptures. The scriptures are written in Bhoti languages the mother tongue
of Bhoti as who came from Tibet to Spiti to spread Buddhism in the area. Further
drive to Kibber village (4400M/9 kms) the highest village in the world. Here
you can interact with the local people. Return to Kaza for overnight stay.
Day 06 27th Aug Kaza/Tabo
Today visit Tabo Monastery (3200 M). Apparently it is an ordinary mud structure
but inside it has beautiful Frescoes which earned Tabo the Epithet of "Ajanta
of Himalayas". Overnight stay at Tabo.
Day 07 28th Aug Tabo/Nako/Kalpa 240km
Morning after breakfast excursion to visit the Buddhist monastries at Nako.
Continue towards Kalpa. Overnight at Kalpa.
Day 08 29th Aug Kalpa/Sangla/Kalpa
Day 09 30th Aug Kalpa/Sarahan 180km
In the morning after breakfast start safari to reach Sarahan (1920 M) via
Narkanda (2690 M). Sarahan is a beautifully located township amid mountains
with Shrikhand Mahadev Peak (5155 M) Looming as a backdrop. Visit Bhimakali
temple, a rare combination of Buddhist and Hindu Architecture. The main idol
of the goddess is about 200 years old. Overnight stay at Sarahan.
Day 10 31st Aug Sarahan/Simla 250km
After breakfast leave for Simla enroute excursion to Kufri, Chail and wildflower
hall. Upon arrival in Simla you will be met on arrival in Shimla and transfer
to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 11 1st Sep Simla/Delhi 400km
Morning after breakfast start your descent towards Chandigarh and finally towards
Delhi. Reach Delhi by late afternoon.
Upon arrival in Delhi you will be transferred to your hotel in the city centre.
Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 12 2nd Sep Delhi/next destination
Full day at leisure or for shopping in the main shopping areas of Delhi. In
time transfer to the international airport for your flight back home with fond
memories of your tour of India.
